Eden Village - Connected Neighborhood in Karlstad, Sweden

Glasshome builds neighborhoods by merging

architecture, technology and human connection to counteract the global urbanization trend by supporting rural regions. Our vision makes the countryside attractive for remote workers, families and elderly people seeking genuine connection.

Glasshome aims to begin a pilot construction in 2026 and are seeking partners, connectors, and landowners.

The house plan features an open space layout, allowing residents to walk around freely and experience a sense of playfulness in their environment. This Japanese fluidity enhances the community spirit, making it easy to connect.

Through its architectural language, Eden Village champions social sustainability by fostering a sense of connection. The design encourages interaction between neigbors and well-being while maintaining privacy. Shared spaces, such as a floating sauna, a fireplace area, a co-working area and a children’s activity zone contributes to this sense of connectedness. In this environment, the concept of “I” fades, replaced by a shared ownership of “us,” creating a collective identity among residents.
